摘要

Considering the problem of color distortion caused by the defogging algorithmbased on dark channel prior, an improved algorithm was proposed to calculatethe transmittance of all channels respectively. First, incident lightfrequency's effect on the transmittance of various color channels was analyzedaccording to the Beer-Lambert's Law, from which a proportion among variouschannel transmittances was derived; afterwards, images were preprocessed bydown-sampling to refine transmittance, and then the original size was restoredto enhance the operational efficiency of the algorithm; finally, thetransmittance of all color channels was acquired in accordance with theproportion, and then the corresponding transmittance was used for imagerestoration in each channel. The experimental results show that compared withthe existing algorithm, this improved image defogging algorithm could makeimage colors more natural, solve the problem of slightly higher colorsaturation caused by the existing algorithm, and shorten the operation time byfour to nine times.
